Chapter One: Beginnings
The scene started as dark as the night sky, the moons pale glow was overshadowed by slate grey storm clouds. The presence of pure evil could be felt on the air as an ominous figure made its way over to the raven-haired victim that he had managed to restrain in a small dark corner of the vacant mansion. It was the only way that he would be able to speak to her without him being around. As she slowly opened her eyes, all she could see was darkness and her captors powerful sapphire blue eyes, peering at her through the night. Just from one gaze, she could tell who was keeping her captive but why was the question she continued to ask herself as he slowly got up from her perch and walked over to start in front of her, his eyes expressing sorrow and confliction.
I am sorry that I had to bring you here like this but this was the only way that I would be able to get you alone so I could talk to you. If I remove the clothe, will you promise not to yell, she asked, his deep baritone voice echoing in the room. She knew that there was no other way to get out this situation than to comply and that is what she did. She hesitantly nodded her head as he moved around the back of her and untied the clothe covering her mouth.
Now I am sure that is better. There is something that Ive been wanting to tell you for so long but you never leave his side and I have to say this before the jealously I feel eats me whole, he said, running his hands through his shoulder-length dark blond hair. He could tell that she was confused so he came out with the dark truth that had been tearing him apart since the day he met her.
I love you and I wish for you to marry me, he stated his request full of passion and truly coming from the heart. He knew that it was now or never and now he only had to wait for the response.
She didnt know how to respond to this. She never would have thought that both of them would have fallen for her but it only made the situation more complicated than it needed to be. She knew that he sat in wait, wondering how she was going to respond to him but she had to be honest with herself and with him. She only hoped that his anger wouldnt get the best of them and that he would come and rescue her before it was too late. Pausing for a moment longer, she collected her thoughts and began to speak.
Dante, I know that you have these feelings for me. Part of me has always known but, my heart has already found someone else. I love-. Before she could even finish, as if by instinct, his hand collided with her fair delicate cheek, leaving a bruise as red as the crushed velvet. She was taken by surprise by is action, until her eyes came face to face with his. Dantes furious anger had taken those soft eyes and driven them to the brink of destruction. She knew that if he didnt arrive here soon, something was going to go wrong. For Dante and his brother were the true ying-yang, Dante being the darker side of the duo. He knelt down beside her, some of his anger subsiding but not completely going away. He felt hurt, betrayed and stabbed in the back and there was nothing that could cure the hurt that he felt. He tried to push the love he felt for her and channeled the darker side that he tried to never show.
Dont you dare utter that name in my presence!!! How dare you say that you love him more than me! I have been nothing but nice to you and this is what I get!! Well if I cannot have you, he cant either.
As soon as those words were uttered, she knew that she wasnt going to survive the night. The anger and hatred in his eyes flushed out any caring feelings that he had felt for her as his hands grabbed ahold on her alabaster throat and strangled the life out of her. When she would cry and try to breathe, he only squeezed tightly under her body fell limp in the toppled chair. Her world slowly swirled into darkness and it was ten that she knew that her life was over and that she would never be able to live the life that she had wanted to live ever again. The last thing she heard as she swirled into oblivion was, You will be mine.

Its a very good piece of work, really. I love it to bits. Just showing can have a littleyin-yang myself.

Stars above them all,
So cold in their hollows kept,
Above humans and their fall.
